IF YOU HAVE A DLC-8: If you are trying to replace a sleeve that does NOT have 2 prongs extending from the side, you must purchase all 4 primary parts to use on your machine. DLC7 & DFP-14 replacement parts, disc blades, work bowls, lids, and covers.

However, the seller was reckless when packing it for shipment, such that the black plastic part which is the bottom part of the motor base (where the rubber feet are) was broken in the way. Can anybody help I see that there are new lids for sale on line but dont really want to order one because I have not used the machine for. I just bought a Cuisinart DLC-7 Super Pro which was used very little and is in excelent condition. I dont have any idea how or where to put it back on. If you are needing to replace the LID and or WORKBOWL and SLEEVE of your DLC-7 then youвЂ™ll need to purchase the new Tritan kit which now contains a different sleeve that fits in the updated lid. Cuisinart DLC-7 super pro the white plastic at the back - I think pushes the rod down for contact so that the machine would work - fell off tonight. THIS SLEEVE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE UPDATED TRITAN DLC-7 & DFP-14 LID (943644) IF YOU HAVE A DLC-7: If you are ONLY NEEDING TO REPLACE THE SLEEVE PORTION FOR YOUR DLC-7 and your current sleeve has the 2 prongs that extend from the side then this sleeve (943027) should be a compatible replacement. NOT compatible with the DLC-8E or DLC-8F series

The small white pusher, which fits inside of this part and helps to push food towards the cutting disc, is sold separately. It is composed of two pieces of clear plastic that fit inside of each other (they cannot be separated they expand much like a telescope) with an opaque white вЂlocking tabвЂ™ and two clear prongs extending from the side, which fit into the workbowl cover to engage the motor. This DLC-7 & DLC-8 expanded sleeve assembly fits inside the chute on a workbowl cover to guide food towards the cutting disc of your choice.
